Craig Burns is a Principal in Blackstone's Real Estate Debt Strategies group and is based in New York.
Mr. Burns’ responsibilities include asset management of the investment portfolios. Before joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Burns was a Vice President with the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy estate where he asset managed a portfolio of the estate's real estate investments. From 1997 to 2008, Mr. Burns was a member of Lehman’s Global Real Estate Group where he focused on the origination, structuring and closing of CMBS financings and principal investments. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Burns was a Vice President at TriMont Real Estate Advisors, a commercial real estate advisory and services provider, where his responsibilities included asset management of a multi-client portfolio and business development.
Mr. Burns received a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University.
