Wallace Henderson is a Senior Managing Director in the Infrastructure Group and leads the group’s investment activities in the midstream sector.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Henderson was a Managing Director and Member of the Executive Committee at EIG Global Energy Partners, where he led the firm’s global midstream effort. In that role, Mr. Henderson oversaw the origination, execution and management of numerous large-scale midstream investments, including transactions in natural gas and liquids gathering and processing, long haul pipelines, and LNG-related infrastructure. Prior to joining EIG in 2011, Mr. Henderson was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he led a New York- based, ten-member, investment banking team responsible for advisory and capital raising transactions for UBS oil and gas clients in the Americas. From 1987 to 2004, Mr. Henderson had a number of investment banking roles at Credit Suisse, including as a Managing Director in the Global Project Finance, Oil & Gas and Latin American Groups.
Mr. Henderson received his BA in Economics from Kenyon College and his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
