Chad R. Pike is a Senior Managing Director and is Vice Chairman of Tactical Opportunities. Mr. Pike is a member of the Investment Committee for the Tactical Opportunities funds. Prior to helping launch the Tactical Opportunities business, Mr. Pike was on the Investment Committee and was the Co-Head of the Real Estate Group where he was responsible for building and managing BREP’s business outside the United States, opening and overseeing the group’s offices in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Mumbai. Since joining Blackstone in 1995, Mr. Pike has led the acquisition of over $20 billion of investments in the United States, Europe and Asia by Blackstone’s real estate and tactical opportunities funds. Significant investments include the European Deutsche Bank office portfolio, Vitus Immobilien, Nido Student Housing, Center Parcs, Broadgate, Chiswick Park, Pluto Finance and Rothesay Life.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Pike was with the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, where he was involved in the purchase of non-performing loan portfolios and real estate operating companies. Mr. Pike received a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors.
